Job summary

Arcadis is shaping the future of water infrastructure, actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join the Resilience Water team in a role focused on planning, design, and delivery of resilient structural solutions for water facilities and related systems. You will collaborate across disciplines to balance technical excellence, sustainability, and constructability.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural engineering degree and 5 years of related design experience, with proficiency in STAAD Pro

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, project objectives, regulatory requirements, and constructability considerations.
• Perform structural assessments and engineering analyses to support feasibility studies, planning efforts, and detailed design.
• Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions that comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Support project delivery by assisting with budget tracking, schedule adherence, and coordination of project milestones.
• Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project-related travel as required.
