Job summary

Arcadis, the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water team. In this role you will help plan, design and deliver structural solutions for water infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities and flood-resilient systems, across a dynamic portfolio.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to balance technical excellence with sustainability, constructability and client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably in water/wastewater infrastructure.
EIT certification or PE license strongly preferred (preferred).
Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, project objectives, regulatory requirements, and constructability considerations.
Perform structural assessments and engineering analyses to support feasibility studies, planning efforts, and detailed design.
Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions that comply with applicable codes and standards.
Support project delivery by assisting with budget tracking, schedule adherence, and coordination of project milestones.
Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project-related travel as required.
