Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in the United States. You will contribute to planning, design and delivery of structural solutions for water infrastructure, including treatment facilities, stormwater resilience, shoreline stabilization and distribution/collection networks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to balance technical excellence, sustainability and constructability.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in structural design for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in STAAD Pro; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Solid understanding of IBC and ACI guidelines; capable of producing drawings, calculations, specs and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative, sustainable and innovative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, objectives, regulations and constructability.
Perform structural assessments and analyses to support feasibility studies and detailed design.
Prepare technical deliverables including calculations, drawings, specifications and contract documents.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
Support project delivery by assisting with budget tracking, schedule adherence and milestone coordination.
Participate in site visits, client meetings and project-related travel as required.
