Job summary

Arcadis is shaping the future of water infrastructure and actively seeking experienced Structural Engineers to contribute to our Resilience Water team. You will work on facilities for water and wastewater, stormwater, coastal stabilization, and resilient distribution, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to balance technical excellence, sustainability, and constructability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred).
EIT certification or PE license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, project objectives, regulatory requirements, and constructability considerations.
Perform structural assessments and engineering analyses to support feasibility studies, planning efforts, and detailed design.
Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions that comply with applicable codes and standards.
Support project delivery by assisting with budget tracking, schedule adherence, and coordination of project milestones.
Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project-related travel as required.
