Job summary

LVI Associates in Minneapolis seeks a Licensed Structural Engineer with a precast specialty to lead design efforts from concept to construction documents and to guide project delivery.

The role combines hands-on design with leadership, mentoring junior engineers, conducting site visits, reviewing shop drawings, and developing proposals to grow a diverse precast portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in structural design of diverse building structures, 4+ years in precast structures.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (RAM, RISA, STAAD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of building codes and material design standards.
• Demonstrated project management experience or strong interest in advancing into a lead role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities
