Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee‑owned firm in Dallas, TX, is offering a Summer 2027 New Grad opportunity in Structural Engineering. You will work with experienced engineers on design, analysis, and project execution while receiving mentorship and formal training.

You’ll contribute to projects across commercial, civic, education, aviation, and infrastructure sectors in the Dallas–Fort Worth region and statewide, emphasizing sustainable design and SE2050 goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Knowledge of design techniques for steel, concrete, wood, masonry.
• Familiarity with structural analysis/design software and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems using diverse materials and software.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical info.
• Support project planning, design development, and construction documents.
• Contribute to project teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Document design decisions and maintain progress tracking.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in structural engineering.
