Job summary

IMEG in Raleigh/Charlotte, NC is seeking a Structural Engineering New Grad to join our 100% employee-owned firm. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers on a Southeast portfolio spanning commercial, education, healthcare, and multifamily projects, applying sustainable design practices and IMEG standards while growing your professional toolkit.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering required.
• MS degree required.
• Experience: none listed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support the execution of consulting projects as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documenting design decisions and client instructions.
• Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks with senior engineers.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs meet standards.
