Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Structural Engineer to assist in design and analysis of structural systems for diverse buildings. You will interact with clients, support project execution, and contribute to construction documents and site observations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and ongoing learning. The position offers exposure to BIM tools and various engineering software, with opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

BS degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
MS degree required; MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
Knowledge of design techniques for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and structures.
Familiarity with industry-standard software and structural analysis/design tools.
Basic knowledge of BIM software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team collaboration.
Willingness to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays.
Internship experience in building design consulting and EIT license preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and analysis of structural systems and calculations.
Interact with clients to understand project needs and communicate technical information.
Support consulting project execution as part of a project team.
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documenting design decisions.
Analyze low to medium complexity tasks with senior engineers and develop solutions.
Participate in quality control to meet IMEG standards and client requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to research and innovation.
Engage in full project life cycle from conception through construction and review submittals.
Work within project budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
