RTX is seeking an early career Structural Engineer to join the Mechanical Analysis and Test (MA&T) department. You will work on products from design through qualification, with a team of 200+ engineers across structural disciplines.

Role involves detailed analyses, test planning, data correlation, and travel to test sites and government locations. A STEM degree and clearance eligibility are required, with potential for relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree substituted for 2 years.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analyses across program phases.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware.
• Analyze test data to validate models and generate mechanical loads.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure technical accuracy under cost/schedule constraints.
• Present results to stakeholders and customers.
• Travel to test sites and government customer sites as needed.
