Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking an early career Structural Engineer to support the Mechanical Analysis and Test (MA&T) department. You will perform detailed structural analyses across program lifecycles, generate test plans, and collaborate with a 200+ engineer team to deliver reliable designs and test data.

Requirements include a STEM degree, 2+ years of experience in structural analysis, proficiency with major FEA tools, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience in structural analysis with PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS, or ABAQUS preferred.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analyses to support all program phases.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance.
• Coordinate peer reviews and present results to stakeholders and customers.
• Travel to test sites as required.
