Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting in Omaha, NE seeks a Structural Engineer II to join our Facilities Engineering group. You will perform design, analysis, and documentation for projects, developing practical solutions and coordinating with clients and other professionals.

This mid-level role requires ABET-accredited degree, EIT or plans to obtain in 6 months, and 2+ years of experience. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits with a range of $78,000–$94,000 per year.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil/Structural eng. degree required.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam REVU.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis calculations per codes.
• Layout and detail project portions under Engineer of Record.
• Provide CAD drawings or sketches for Designers/Drafters.
• Lead engineer on assigned projects as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other professionals.
