Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in Omaha to join our Facilities Engineering group. The role leads complex structural projects from concept through completion, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver safe, practical designs for diverse industries. The position requires a Civil/Structural ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years’ experience, and PE preferred with EIT required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Eng from ABET-accredited university
• 5+ years’ experience as structural engineer
• PE preferred, EIT required

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations
• Provide leadership to junior engineers
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams
• Prepare CAD drawings and details
• Lead design and engineering effort, manage schedule and budget
• Attend client meetings as SME
• Work with clients, architects, and other professionals
