Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI, seeks an Engineer I - Structural to design and support lifting and handling fixtures for Virginia Class construction. Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil (Structural) or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and production support of lifting and handling fixtures.
• Learn crane capabilities and heavy load transporter operations.
• Create lifting and handling drawings and build strategies.
• Fixture design and engineering to support manufacturing.
