General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer I/II to support submarine hull structures, both in the shop and through calculations and reports in the Groton office. You will work in a fast-paced team, applying statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and material science, with regular interaction with NAVSEA and shipyard personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering (to be completed by Dec 2026).
• 0-5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
• Education/Prior experience in Structural Analysis.
