Job summary

Farnsworth Group seeks a Structural Engineer in St. Louis, MO, to perform structural analysis and design for buildings, energy, and industrial projects. You will develop construction documents and provide construction administration, while coordinating with clients and the project team.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering degree and 5–8 years of experience, with proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD. Hybrid work options and strong growth potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (required) or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
• 5-8 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
