Responsibilities include producing structural designs from concept to completion, updating CAD drawings, and performing field inspections while collaborating with project managers and teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited degree and minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience.
Experience with CAD software and structural analysis programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Responsibilities

Perform structural design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
Modify and review production drawings for diverse facilities including power plants, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, and more.
Design structural components per project manager requirements.
Apply knowledge of standard engineering concepts, codes and procedures.
Research and compile project data as required by project managers.
Update drawings created by senior engineers using CAD software to verify corrections.
Prepare information for client presentations, shop drawings, and contract administration for various facilities.
Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
