Job Description:

We are looking for an Engineer Structural 3 to support a Tooling department. This role requires a structural analysis background to assist in generating structural engineering analysis packages for tooling fixtures in an aerospace fabrication environment. The candidate shall analyze, research, and provide input on product design or operation involving metals, non-metallic, or composite structural materials.
Education: Bachelor’s (STEM) Degree with experience in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations.
Experience: Experience with stress analysis techniques, concepts, and practices. Analysis of simple to complex problems via hand calculations and FEA.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (CATIA/NX). Basic ability to create, read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications in accordance with ASME 14.5. Basic level understanding of GD&T.
Other Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to communicate with various levels of leadership, coordinate and resolve interpersonal and technical problems, and work well in a team or independently with limited guidance.
