Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Structural Engineer 3 in Melbourne, Florida (onsite) to perform static, dynamic, and DaDT analyses of airframe structures, mechanical systems and equipment, using hand methods and approved automation.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Proficiency with FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with minimum of 10 years aerospace structural analysis experience
• Master’s degree in STEM with 8 years aerospace structural analysis experience
• Ph.D. in STEM with 5 years aerospace structural analysis experience
• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance in a reasonable timeframe

Role Overview

This role involves performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment. The work will be conducted by hand and through the use of automated methods and procedures approved for the program. The position requires collaboration within a team environment and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

• Create, extract, and distribute internal loads using tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve project results.
• Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project goals.
• Comprehend and analyze complex problems to develop viable solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience: One of the following is required:

• A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
• A Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
• A Ph.D. degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
• US CItizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the program

Technical Skills: Experience with tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Active DOD Secret Clearance
