Job summary

Everforth Apex in San Diego, CA is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer 3 to support CNS programs within spacecraft and related equipment assembly and test. Candidates should have BS with 5 years (MS 3 years, PhD 1 year) and be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

Role Overview

This position supports programs within the Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit. The role involves maintaining processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft, and related equipment. This is an on-site position in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of equipment.
• Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers, and customer organizations.
• Document and disposition hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause and corrective actions.
• Design and develop tooling to aid in the integration and test process.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Perform Design Verification Tests and Environmental Qualification Testing.
• Conduct Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• 5 Years with a Bachelor of Science degree
• 3 Years with a Master's degree
• 1 Year with a PhD

Experience:

• Must be willing and able to obtain an active DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the program.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with little oversight or direction.

Technical Skills:

• Waveform Knowledge
• Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
• Experience with design verification and EMI testing
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DOD Secret Clearance
• Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
• Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
• Working knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, and optics.
• Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Cameo).
• Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
