Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a structural Engineer-in-Training I or II to join our Structural Engineering Group in our Larkspur, California office.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of project types with various structural materials, gaining experience in new building design, existing building investigations, and retrofits. Typical duties include engineering calculations, drawing development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits, with collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Has passed FE Examination.
• 0-4 years’ experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in the Larkspur, CA area; relocation reimbursement may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents.
• Study and apply building code and material code to complete design calculations under supervision.
• Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, including submittals, RFIs, field observations.
• Communicate and coordinate project design with clients, other team consultants, and contractors.
