Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking an Engineering in Training (EIT) for our Atlanta office. You will work on a broad range of structural projects, gaining experience in new building design as well as investigations and retrofits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an ABET-accredited engineering curriculum (Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work in the Atlanta, GA area; relocation support may be provided depending on role.
• Has passed FE Examination.

Responsibilities

• Apply CAD/BIM software to project components and systems.
• Prepare details and calculations for project components.
• Learn about products and construction procedures.
• Prepare and write reports.
• Provide field observation during construction.
• Study building codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Propose solutions to problems.
• Work overtime when necessary.
