Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer-in-Training I or II to join our Structural Engineering Group in Larkspur, California.

This engineer will gain experience across a broad range of project types and materials, including new building design and existing building investigations and retrofits. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related field.
• Has passed FE Examination.
• 0-4 years’ experience in structural engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, with the ability to work in Larkspur, CA.

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents.
• Study and apply building code, material code and jurisdictional requirements to complete design calculations under supervision.
• Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, including submittals, RFIs, and field observations.
• Communicate and coordinate project design with clients, other team consultants, and contractors.
