Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Kansas City office. You will gain experience across new designs, investigations, and retrofits, collaborating with owners, architects, and contractors. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and delivering high-quality structural work.

The position offers exposure to diverse projects nationwide, with opportunities to develop expertise and advance toward licensure within a supportive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Ability to work in the Kansas City area; relocation may be provided
• Has passed FE Examination

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and prepare details for project components
• Develop drawings and construction documents
• Participate in site visits and Construction Administration tasks
• Review shop drawings and product submittals and coordinate with disciplines
• Support project teams in design and documentation tasks
• Proactively propose solutions to project challenges
