Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Atlanta office.

This engineer will gain experience on a broad range of project types with many different structural materials, including new building design and existing building investigations and retrofits. A typical week includes calculations, drawing development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits while working with owners, architects, and contractors across the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum in Civil/Structural or related field.
• FE exam passed and eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in the Atlanta, GA area with potential relocation reimbursement.
• Experience with building code and design processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and prepare details for project components and systems.
• Develop drawings and CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple project types.
• Conduct site visits and provide field observations during construction.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines and review submittals.
