Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Denver office.

You will work on a broad range of project types with various structural materials, gaining experience in both new building design and existing building investigations and retrofits. A typical week includes engineering calculations, drawing development, construction administration tasks, and site visits, with early-career interaction with owners, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum (Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related)
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Ability to work in the Denver area with potential relocation reimbursement
• Has passed FE Examination

Responsibilities

• Prepare details and calculations for project components and systems
• Provide field observation during construction
• Review shop drawings and submittals
• Coordinate work with other disciplines
• Learn and apply building codes and jurisdiction requirements
• Develop quality designs for clients
