Job summary
Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Kansas City office. You will work on a broad range of projects using diverse materials, gaining experience in new building design and existing building investigations and retrofits.
The role involves calculations, drawing development, construction administration, and site visits, with interaction with owners, architects, and contractors. The national footprint offers projects nationwide.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Relocation to Kansas City area may be provided.
- Has passed FE Examination.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations and CAD/BIM drawing development.
- Prepare details and calculations for project components and systems.
- Conduct site visits and provide field observation during construction.
- Review shop drawings and product submittals.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines and learn building codes.
