Job summary

Locke Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a Structural Designer I to create detailed 3D models, layouts and technical drawings to support engineering and manufacturing processes. You will report to the Structural Design Manager and help ensure design work meets quality and compliance standards.

Collaborate with the Lead Designer, Engineering team and production staff to maintain accuracy, improve workflows, and deliver design deliverables on schedule while sustaining a team-oriented, problem-solving

Qualifications

• 1+ year of 3D CAD experience or equivalent.
• Associate degree or certification in drafting or engineering preferred.
• Precast experience is a plus.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Assist with modeling reinforcement.
• Read, interpret, and apply information from technical drawings.
• Assist in developing standard drawings and maintaining design documentation.
• Work with Lead Designer and Engineering team to ensure design accuracy.
• Maintain relationships across departments to facilitate project execution.
• Participate in team meetings.
