Job summary

Scaffold Engineering Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Designer to support our engineering team in developing accurate structural drawings and 3D models.

You will turn concepts into buildable plans and collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality deliverables. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a solid understanding of structural systems, codes, and construction methods.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in structural drafting/design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other design software.
• Understanding of structural systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise structural drawings, plans, and 3D models for a variety of projects.
• Assist engineers with design development, calculations, and documentation.
• Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
