Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Designer to join their Professional Engineering Consulting team in Houston, Texas. This role demands hands-on leadership for complex deliverables, while supporting project execution and collaboration across disciplines.

Successful candidates will possess at least three years in civil-structural design. Responsibilities include developing structural models, documentation maintenance, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in civil-structural systems design.
• Minimum of five (5) years of current experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models of foundation and structural steel systems using CADWorx.
• Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and models from engineering calculations.
• Assist in the review of structural steel shop fabrication drawings to verify compliance.
