Job summary

Locke Solutions seeks a Structural Designer I in Houston to support engineering and manufacturing with detailed 3D models and drawings. You will report to the Structural Design Manager and ensure designs meet quality and compliance standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role collaborates closely with the Lead Designer, Engineering team, and production staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency in deliverables and drawings, supporting timely project execution.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CAD/drafting experience or equivalent in engineering, drafting, or related technical fields.
• Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Precast experience is a plus.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings based on project specifications.
• Assist with modeling reinforcement and applying design standards.
• Read, interpret, and apply information from technical drawings and project documents.
• Maintain design documentation and track engineering and design changes.
