Locke Solutions is seeking a Structural Designer II in Houston, TX to independently develop detailed 3D models, reinforcement layouts, and technical drawings for a variety of precast concrete projects. This role reports to the Structural Design Manager and partners with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Sales to ensure design intent is executed accurately.

The Structural Designer II is responsible for independently developing detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and reinforcement layouts that support engineering, manufacturing, and construction processes. Reporting to the Structural Design Manager, this role applies advanced drafting and design knowledge to more complex projects while ensuring all design work meets company quality standards, engineering requirements, and project specifications.
The Structural Designer II partners closely with the Structural Design Manager, Engineering team, Project Managers, Production, and other cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate and timely design solutions. This role also serves as a technical resource to junior designers by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Structural Design department.
