Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services is seeking a skilled Designer to join the Professional Engineering Consulting team in Arlington or Houston, TX. You will lead 3D modeling and detailed drawings for civil-structural systems, coordinating with engineers, construction personnel, and vendors to ensure accurate, constructible designs.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Three+ years of civil-structural design experience.
• In-person assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D foundation and structural steel models in CADWorx Plant/Structure.
• Create 2D drawings for IFA/IFB/IFC and As-Built deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure model integration and constructability.
• Review drawings for compliance with design intent and project specs.
• Support design reviews and client meetings with updated civil-structural deliverables.
• Prepare reinforcement schedules, BOMs, and material take-offs.
