Join Our Structural Department

As a Structural Designer, you will be part of a skilled team working on diverse projects across municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. Our team emphasizes sustainability in helping clients achieve their environmental goals. You will collaborate with professionals across Ramboll’s business units and globally, including Energy Transition, Environment & Health, Water, and Advanced Manufacturing.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare structural engineering and construction drawings using Autodesk Revit, under supervision.
• Follow Ramboll’s quality management policies and standards, including drafting standards and client requirements.
• Participate in the Ramboll CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program.
• Serve as CAD/BIM Coordinator on selected projects.
• Review vendor drawings/submittals for compliance.
• Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical skills.
• Promote a safety culture in the office and field.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and geotechnical data to plan projects and create design deliverables.
• Perform fundamental engineering calculations and develop design elements under supervision.

• An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Technology.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit.
• A willingness to learn new market sectors.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients, ability to work independently, participate in team development, and excellent report writing skills.
