We are actively seeking a Structural Designer to join our team and take charge of designing cutting-edge industrial and manufacturing facilities for top-tier companies. In this role, you will collaborate with structural engineers and design teams to deliver innovative and complex designs, ensuring specifications are met and projects are completed on time. Your expertise will drive our success.
Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Analyzes sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
- Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems.
- Works under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
- Solves design problems but is expected to need assistance.
- May perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts.
- May have minimal external customer contact.
- REVIT experience required.
- Travel required.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree-tracked engineering degree.
- Minimum three (3) years experience with SSOE as a Designer or four (4) years related designer experience with former employer(s).
- Proficiency in the use of a computer for drafting and design applications required.
- Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
- Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
