Coastal Forest Products seeks a CAD Plan Designer to create structural framing layouts, plan takeoffs, and optimized EWP solutions for commercial and residential projects in Bow, NH. You will interpret architectural plans, ensure codes compliance, and provide technical guidance to customers and contractors.

Requirements include 2-3 years CAD design experience, proficiency with CAD software, ability to read blueprints, and a BA/BS in Drafting or related field.

• Experience with local building codes and calculations.

Responsabilités

• Creates structural framing layouts and performs plan takeoffs for commercial and residential projects.
• Ensures all designs meet local building codes and engineering standards.
• Interprets architectural and structural plans to develop optimized EWP solutions.
• Interacts with retail customers and contractors regarding product/technical questions.
• Collaborates with department head and team to improve processes and workflows.
• Manages multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
