Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• North Carolina PE license.
• 5-10 years bridge/culvert design experience.
• NCDOT design guidelines, procedures, and plan preparation.
• AASHTO LRFD knowledge.
• CAD plan development with MicroStation/ORD/OpenBridge Designer.
• Hydraulic design analysis with HEC-RAS and HY-8.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
• Perform and review bridge hydraulic analyses including HEC-RAS.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure FEMA/FHWA/NCDOT criteria.
• Lead bridge projects and manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Support teams in other offices with bridge and hydraulic design tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform QC reviews of deliverables.
• Develop memorandums, specifications, feasibility studies, and reports.
• Support proposal development.
