Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
North Carolina PE license required.
5–10 years of bridge/culvert design experience required.
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD and Bridge Evaluation.
Experience with CAD tools and hydraulic design analyses.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
Perform/Review bridge hydraulic analyses with HEC-RAS/HY-8.
Coordinate with teams to meet FEMA, FHWA, and NCDOT criteria.
Lead bridge projects and manage schedules, budgets, deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and perform QA on deliverables.
Develop memos, specs, feasibility studies and reports.
