Job summary

Winixx Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to apply FEA, vibration analysis, and structural testing to ensure fleetOS hardware meets mechanical performance requirements before tooling.

This role influences design choices from early development through production. Collaborate with product management and systems engineering to convert customer use cases into quantified structural criteria, and develop test plans and documentation to support validation activities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional FEA and structural analysis experience in production engineering.
• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Experience correlating FEA with physical test data.
• Familiarity with vehicle-mounted electronics vibration standards encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEA on hardware enclosures, mounting brackets, PCB assemblies, and connectors.
• Define structural performance requirements with PM and systems engineering.
• Conduct modal, frequency response, and random vibration analyses.
• Perform shock analyses for transportation and installation events.
• Validate FEA predictions with physical test data and document methods.
• Develop structural test plans with fixtures, loads, and instrumentation.
