Job summary

Winixx Inc. is seeking a Thermal Systems Engineer in Atlanta to own the full thermal engineering scope for our hardware products.

You will perform detailed thermal analyses, create CFD models, and drive environmental test plans across automotive-style conditions. You will collaborate with mechanical designers, PCB engineers and product managers to ensure thermal constraints are understood and addressed at all design stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or closely related field.
• 2+ years of thermal engineering experience on electronic hardware in automotive or consumer electronics.
• Experience with CFD/thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM or Simcenter.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed thermal analysis and CFD simulations for fleetOS hardware products across development stages.
• Define thermal design requirements translating operating specs into constraints for mechanical/electrical teams.
• Design and specify passive thermal management solutions and assess active solutions when needed.
• Develop and execute comprehensive thermal validation test plans per automotive standards.
• Collaborate with PCB designers to optimize component placement for thermal performance.
• Document analyses, test results, and design decisions in engineering reports.
