Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a multidisciplinary engineering field (Mechatronics/EE/ME)
• 2+ years in mechatronics or hardware bring-up roles
• Hands-on hardware bench experience with test equipment
• Experience with embedded interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, GPIO
• Ability to read firmware and collaborate with firmware engineers
• Experience designing and validating test fixtures for hardware
• Knowledge of automotive electronics and vehicle power management
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
• Experience with telematics hardware or IoT a plus

Responsibilities

• Define system‑level integration requirements and ICDs for fleetOS hardware programs
• Lead hardware integration testing during EVT/DVT phases
• Design and build specialized integration test fixtures and benchtop setups
• Investigate cross‑discipline failures and drive root‑cause analysis
• Collaborate with embedded software on HAL, drivers, and power management
• Contribute to PCB design reviews from a systems integration perspective
• Develop and maintain test procedure libraries for interfaces
• Support field escalations involving multi‑domain failures
• Identify opportunities to simplify integration and improve testability
• Create integration risk registers and failure‑mode libraries
