Job summary

The Cerebrovascular Program Supervisor at Medical University of South Carolina's Charleston Division provides strategic and operational leadership for the Comprehensive Stroke Program, ensuring 24/7 readiness and compliance with accreditation standards.

The role leads care coordination across multidisciplinary teams, drives quality improvement, and supports education, performance measurement, and regulatory preparedness to advance clinical excellence within the Neuroscience ICCE Service Line.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN/DNP acceptable in lieu of BSN.
• Minimum five years nursing experience, clinical or neurology.
• Leadership experience with direct reports preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Comprehensive Stroke Program.
• Lead change management and quality improvement in stroke care.
• Collaborate across Cerebrovascular, Neurocritical Care, ED, and Neuroendovascular teams.
• Oversee regulatory readiness and certification activities.
• Coordinate education and professional development for care teams.
• Represent program at community events and outreach.
• Ensure data collection, reporting, and analytics for performance metrics.
