Qualifications

• Understanding of performance improvement processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience caring for stroke patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Ability to coordinate with physicians, nurses and others to develop patient care plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the hospital's Stroke Program.
• Support certification readiness and regulatory survey preparation.
• Coordinate staff education and review stroke cases for quality improvement.
• Monitor compliance with stroke protocols and performance measures.
• Provide ongoing feedback to clinical teams to improve patient outcomes.
