Job summary

Abbott in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist for the Stroke Prevention portfolio within Structural Heart devices. This role provides clinical and sales support, educating interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on AmplatzerT M, AmuletT M and LAA Occluder devices within a defined region, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy vendor credentialing requirements for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform about latest developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
• Role may travel up to 50% and requires strong clinical orientation.
