Job summary
Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Stroke Coordinator to lead the development and maintenance of stroke care quality across the continuum of care. You will serve as a clinical expert and resource to patients, families, staff, physicians, and the community, collaborating to meet accreditation and CMS standards.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and NC RN license; 3–5 years acute clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- NC RN license is required.
- Certified Neuroscience RN or Stroke Certified RN preferred.
- 3–5 years acute clinical experience required.
- 1 year of stroke care or related experience and MS Office skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the quality of care delivered to stroke patients and their movement across the continuum of care.
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource to patient and family, nursing staff, physicians and the community.
