Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator (RN) in Silver Spring, MD to oversee the stroke program, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in critical care.
  • Active Maryland RN license.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • Leadership certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Role-model positive customer service behaviors.
  • Monitor stroke program regulatory requirements and develop a strategic compliance plan.
  • Operationalize the strategic plan for stroke care in collaboration with unit managers.
  • Establish and monitor standards of practice for staff related to stroke care.
  • Champion professional practice related to stroke care across the organization.
  • Lead staff participation in continuous improvement efforts and shared governance.
  • Promote cohesive work teams and constructive conflict resolution within stroke units.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
