Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley in Camden is seeking an IMPACT Specialist to join the Camden Navigational Resource Center. In this hands-on, street-level role, you will engage vulnerable individuals, build trust, and deliver immediate care and essential services in the community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with homeless or behavioral health populations.
• Compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve on the spot.
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct street outreach and attend community events to engage with at-risk individuals.
• Provide emergency support, referrals, and transportation assistance.
• Perform intake assessments and create individualized service plans.
• Mentor clients and assist with accessing basic needs and ongoing care.
• Maintain real-time documentation and ensure continuous support.
• Facilitate group sessions and collaborate with community resources.
