Job summary

Utah Mammoth Street Hockey Coordinator role leading planning, scheduling and marketing of youth camps, clinics, leagues and events. You will coordinate internal/external communications, staff hiring and payroll, and program implementation across multiple sites.

The position requires building strong partnerships with parks departments, managing equipment orders, ensuring sponsor compliance, and growing the organization’s youth hockey offerings within the community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ youth hockey, street and rink operation experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling, marketing, communicating (both internally and externally), and fully implementing all Youth Programs Department Camps, Clinics, Programs and Events including Hockey 101, Street Hockey Clinics and Leagues.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of part-time staff with payroll processing.
  • Build positive relationships with parks and recreation departments and community leaders.
  • Order jerseys, shirts, hats, and promotional items; ensure adequate inventory for programs.
  • Ensure staffing for all Youth Programs events, including participation as an instructor.
  • Ensure compliance with IGF and sponsor requirements and standards.
