Job summary

Mammoth Ice Center in Utah seeks a Next Gen Ice Hockey Coordinator to plan, promote, and run Learn to Play and Continue to Play programs across Utah. You will handle scheduling, participant communication, coach coordination, and day-to-day operations from registration through program completion.

You will partner with internal departments and community partners, manage staffing, equipment, jerseys, and events, and ensure high-quality experiences for players, families, and sponsors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' youth hockey experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Must pass MVR screening as per company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, market and communicate Learn to Play and Continue to Play programs.
  • Coordinate youth hockey activations, events and partnerships.
  • Maintain staffing levels and coach coordination for programs.
  • Manage program equipment, jerseys, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and UAHA for program delivery.
  • Support youth events through logistics and compliance.
