The City of Fairhope seeks a skilled Crew Leader to direct street, sidewalk, and drainage projects, lead crews, and manage equipment for daily maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include planning work, coordinating safety, and training newer staff in proper procedures at job sites.

Candidates should have 3+ years of concrete and road repair experience, a valid Alabama driver’s license (CDL preferred), and be able to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in sidewalk/concrete and street repair.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license; insurable.
• May require Class A CDL.
• Ability to work on-call, overtime, weekends.
• Ability to travel citywide.
• Background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Direct crews on street, sidewalk, and drainage maintenance projects.
• Plan, schedule, and procure materials for projects.
• Lead training and ensure safety standards.
• Operate/oversee heavy equipment for street repairs.
