Job summary

Strategic Government Resources, Inc. is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a concrete construction crew focused on asphalt/concrete repair, drainage, and related maintenance.

You will lead daily field operations, coordinate with city projects, and ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with safety regulations. The role requires hands-on supervision, equipment proficiency, and strong customer service skills to address citizen inquiries and service requests while maintaining project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related technical training
• 3 years’ experience in concrete construction, street maintenance, or public works
• Valid Texas Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Proficient knowledge of concrete methods, materials, and heavy equipment
• OSHA safety regulations and trenching/shoring safety knowledge
• Knowledge of MUTCD standards
• Proficiency with basic computers/tablets and software
• Willingness for emergency response and on-call duties

Responsibilities

• Lead concrete crew on job sites, supervise daily activities and safety compliance
• Operate and oversee heavy machinery for street, drainage, and concrete projects
• Perform routine equipment inspections and manage crew tools and materials
• Provide on-the-spot safety training and PPE enforcement
• Handle customer inquiries by phone and field investigations to resolve issues
• Update and close digital work orders with accurate labor/material/equipment data
• Perform other related duties as assigned
